This photo shows 8 year old Christian holding hands with Connor, a new boy in his class. The picture was taken on the first day of school; 

What does the first day of school sometimes feel like if you are new?

Connor felt very nervous about his first day. He didn't want to go in to the classroom. When all the other children lined up on the playground, Connor curled up and cried.

Christian saw Connor curled up and crying 

What did Christian decide to do?

Christian walked over, took Connor's hand and walked him in to school.

We don't know if Christian said anything; what might he have said?
Christian didn't know Connor, so why do that?
Was it Christian's job to do that? Should he be lining up instead?
What kind of person do you think Christian is?
How do you think Connor felt when Christina took his hand?
Why do you think Connor went with Christian even though he didn't know him?

The photo quickly went viral and Connors Mum thanked Christian. Mum said, "I worry every day that my son might get bulled for being different and your son just absolutely warmed my heart. If there were more children like him I wouldn't worry about such things."

Why is Connor's mum worried?
"Bullied for being different"- would that happen in our school? Why not?
