Amelia is 10 years old and lives in Wales. She has become very good at her favourite sport and here she is with a medal. 

Which sport do you think Amelia has become good at? 

Amelia loves football and plays for her local team. She practices every night after school so she has become very good. So good in fact, that she has scored a huge number of goals last season in games across South Wales.

How many goals do you think Amelia has scored? Think about one game a week, how many weeks in a season, what is a realistic number?

Amelia scored 143 goals.
She usually scores 10 goals by the end of the first half!

How would you describe Amelia as a foootballer?

Some of the players on Amelia's team felt it wasn't fair to play with Amelia because they never got a chance to score.

Amelia's coach takes her off the pitch for the second half of every game to give the other players a chance.

Is this the right thing to do? What are the different points of view about this decision? You could argue Amelia is being sent off yet she has done nothing wrong.

Amelia doesn't grumble about this decision; she leaves the pitch without fuss. She just loves to play. Amelia's aim is to play for Wales and Liverpool and her role model is Liverpool striker Mo Salah.

Alligator

The female reptile, measuring just 49cm is one of only seven in the world. She is a Leucistic alligator. Leucistic alligators are the rarest of all alligators. The alligator has a brother born at the same time with skin the same colour as most other alligators. The alligator has been described as beautiful. The park is asking people to suggest a name for the reptile. Kamden uses a wheelchair and one day Paul was horrified when he saw his friend's chair tip up and Kamden fall out. The problem was Kamden had grown too big for his chair, but his family could not afford to buy a new one. Paul said, "His wheelchair has fallen forward so many times and that sucks. Also he has a really hard time pushing it because it's so heavy." Paul decided he needed to help his friend so he investigated ways to raise money.
