Can anyone guess what his new job is?  British Paralympian John McFall has been selected to train as an astronaut by the European Space Agency. He will be the first astronaut with a disability. John will work with designers and engineers to se if he can become the first person with a disability to go in to space.  John McFall is a Paralympic sprinter. He says he hopes to inspire others and show that "science is for everyone and potentially space is for everyone." - what is an astronaut? - What is a Paralympian?   What do you see in the picture? Who are these people, what are they wearing on their arm? What famous tournament is happening this week?  This is Harry Kane and Gareth Bale. Harry Kane is the captain of the England football team and Gareth Bale is the captain of the Wales team. England and Wales are taking part in the World Cup, the football tournament starting this week. What is the World Cup?  Does anyone know where the World Cup is being held? Why are Harry and Gareth wearing this arm band, what does it say? What does "One love" mean? In different countries there are different laws. What does the law in the UK say about difference (reference the Equality Act 2010 - how are people "different" in the UK today?) Lucy is blind so she knew her experience on the safari was going to be very different. but she called the safari one of the most amazing trips of her life.  Lucy says she doesn't miss her sight and used her other senses on the trip to get the most out of her experience; "To reach out and feel the skins of elephants and giraffes really helped me to start to "see"" -ask the children at this point to think about what experiences Lucy might have on the safari using her other senses. Lucy says as they drove out of the city her senses awoke; "The ground became bumpy as we sped along and the car smelled of sand which wafted in to my face in the wind... the keepers brilliantly described the rhinos and elephants...
