Jolien Boumkwo is a shot-putter from Belgium.  Jolien stepped in to join the hurdle race at the European Athletics Team Championships because the athlete who usually competed in the hurdles was injured. Jolien knew that even if she came last, her country would receive one point, so she decided to join the race. Her performance went viral on social media.
